Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Lattice, you enter into a binding agreement with us on these Terms. If you are using Lattice on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Lattice. If you do not meet these requirements, you may not use Lattice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Lattice for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to access, reverse engineer, or disrupt Lattice's systems or data.
• Scrape, crawl, or overload Lattice, or misuse our features.
• Introduce malware or any malicious code.

5. Intelligence-generated content

Lattice generates review cards using models. Generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing any generated content before relying on it, and you should not treat generated output as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime; changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle unless stated otherwise. Prices may change with reasonable notice.

7. Free tier

We may offer a free plan with limited features. We may change the features or limits of any plan, including free plans, with reasonable notice.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the notes and materials you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve Lattice for you. You represent that Your Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

Lattice, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to Lattice except to use it as permitted here.

10. Disclaimers

Lattice is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that Lattice will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any generated output is accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Lattice nor its providers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Lattice. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from Your Content or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You can stop using Lattice at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we decide to stop providing Lattice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal for any disputes, except where prohibited.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Lattice after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
